Before doing this hike I had seen pictures, but much like the Grand Canyon pictures don’t do it justice. This hike turns into almost a climb at parts and you definitely get challenged if you have a fear of heights!
Hiking through the water in these narrow canyons was great. Combine this with Angel’s Landing and it’s easy to see how this park has become so popular to visit.
These were way easier and way more fun to ride than I had expected. Of course it rained on us towards the end.
Playing in the clouds on a mountain covered with snow. If there is one positive of all the rain in the northwest this is it. Snow!!! This is heading down the lower part of Alpine at Summit Central in the Snoqualmie Pass. Pretty firm conditions, but any day on the mountain is a good time!

Got there on a Friday and left after spending a weekend here. It felt similar to Vegas in that a weekend was more than enough time :) Actually, I would have liked to have explored the outskirts of the city or even got out of the city, but simply ran out of time. I went to the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House, both of which are worth visiting without question.
A bike tour with Fat Tire Tours was the first activity that I did when I got to Berlin and it helped out a lot with finding my way around. Visiting a concentration camp was something that I wanted to do for really unknown reasons. I knew it would be more of a somber walking through a memorial knowing that this was just one of them. This might be the most fun bike tour that I have ever been on. It must have been a combination of the guide and the group, because it didn’t cover as much as the other tours that I did in Berlin. However, it was simply fun. We were actually supposed to catch a train back, but the guide and group decided just to bike the whole way back. Well of course part way back one of the group’s Australians somehow broke the peddle on his bike.
For lodging I stayed at the Wombats. Overall, it was a good place to crash, but after doing tours every day I was there I simply didn’t hang out much. My roommates were from Canada and Australia who were all super nice. The 6 person room also had a private bathroom, which was also a plus.
