Before doing this hike I had seen pictures, but much like the Grand Canyon pictures don’t do it justice. This hike turns into almost a climb at parts and you definitely get challenged if you have a fear of heights!
These dives were a lot of fun. I went with: We B Divin' Cozumel www.we-b-divin-cozumel.com Lots of caves and sealife to look explore. Like most dives where you aren’t familiar with the area it really paid off to stick close to the guide. He knew what and where to look for particular sealife and found various other interesting areas.
No doors is the way to go! Just way more fun and no reflections on camera shots too. I lucked out on this tour, because there were lots of clouds in the morning so it didn’t look like it would be a great flight. However, when we took off most of them lifted and allowed us to even go to the top of Mount Waialeale which is often not accessible. It’s one of the wettest spots on Earth.
Hiking through the water in these narrow canyons was great. Combine this with Angel’s Landing and it’s easy to see how this park has become so popular to visit.
I really didn’t expect the stingrays to come right up and brush me. I actually felt trapped at times not being able to move, because they were all around me and I absolutely didn’t want to step on one!
Water is great. Lots of water and toys even better! I did split my lip open on the cliff diving, so be careful out there!
These rides are a blast even when you don’t even like heights like me! It did take some liquid courage at the bar on top :) I have done these twice now with an 18 year break in between and both times were excellent. I actually bought the unlimited pass and did the Big Shot and Insanity rides twice. Surprisingly the X-Scream was the freakiest one for me, because it simply hangs you over the edge looking straight down.
After 9 years of living in Seattle I thought I had seen the whole city. I was wrong.
These were way easier and way more fun to ride than I had expected. Of course it rained on us towards the end.
For being way higher than the bungee jumps that I’ve done, this really wasn’t bad at all. It’s a nice almost “gentle” fall to the ground below.
